This year has started with a bang. The Raw Nerve team has just finished working on the ITV Brit Awards TV promos as well as designing and developing ideas for a brand new annual public art competition called 'Up Against It'.

Our 'Life Is Suite' sofa has been invited to take part in this years ON|Off fashion show that will be illuminating the London Fashion Week platform for a fresh art initiative that takes fashion to a whole new level. Who knows we might be able to get a picture for our next newsletter with Kate Moss draped over it.

We hope you like what you see of our work and we look forward to speaking to you soon. If you don't want to be updated with our developments and adventures then simply click on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of this page.

Up Against It - a public art competition for City Growth
Brand Concept | Brand Identity | Marketing Material | Motion Graphics | Online Marketing Material | Website
City Growth have asked Raw Nerve to put forward a strategy for how to implement a wall competition in Deptford to promote the area as an exciting place for new creatives and as a place for them to access a diverse and dynamic creative industry. The idea for a wall competition came from their initial brief 'Closer Than You Think', wtih the aim to promote the area as being closer to creativity, closer to education, closer to central London than people may think. Raw Nerve is project managing, creating the branding for and designing all marketing materials for the competition. The winning artwork will be displayed on the Up Against It Wall on Deptford High Street opposite Deptford Station SE8. The competition is open to all BA students belonging to art and design departments in Art Colleges or Universities in the UK. A high profile jury of successful Goldsmiths College graduates has been chosen to adjudicate the best entry.

Illustration | Marketing Material | Motion Graphics | Post-Production | Sound Design
Raw Nerve has been commissioned by ITV to create promotions for the forthcoming Brit Awards. The objective is to build hype about the biggest music awards in the UK, and attract over 6 million viewers. The theme is about saying 'thank you for the music' and features a combination of contemporary visuals with energetic animations of previous winners, which are cut and mixed over a seamless soundtrack of some of the biggest tunes from the past 12 months. The artwork has also been adapted for print advertising of the event.

Freelance Hellraiser
Brand Development | Illustration | Website
Raw Nerve designed and produced The Freelance Hellraiser website for Sony. The site centres around a personna for the hellraiser, a futuristic troubadour travelling the galaxy, his garb a mish mash of things found on his travels and his guise - a hare's head. The aim was to strike the balance between the future technologies and an earthy grounding to his character. The site is all about exploration, as you click on sections of his body you zoom in on different areas to reveal more detail. The site is enhanced with sound and interactive animations, as well as a detachable jukebox where you can listen to all the hellraiser tracks.
